Party Poker Payout

I requested a payout Nov. 30th just to send me a check in the mail, figuring I'm in no big rush to get the money. Still no check today. Gave a call and they told me check was sent out on Dec. 6th and could then take 1-3 weeks to get to me. Does this sound on the up and up yet and give it some time yet or start making more calls to get my money? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

Unlike many of the sportsbooks you do not want to request a check from the poker rooms, they take a while to receive. Personally, I've never used the check option but have heard a handful of stories regarding Party and the amount of time it takes to receive a check.

If you do not have a check by December 30th then give them a call. I inquired about receiving a cashout via check and the guidance they gave me was one month (not 1-3 weeks) using standard mail (Fedex would be faster but there is a charge).

a) If you want reliability, security, and peace of mind use electronic means for cashouts or at a minimum request that the check is sent Fedex.
b) Party is solid and will pay.

I received a check for 800.00 from partypoker 3 days after I requested it it in Novemeber. I just setup the transfer to checking and that went through in 3 days also, more convenient though.

Just recieved my check by mail yesterday. Never thought I wouldn't get it, just didn't think it would take so long (a month). Next time I may have to consider a different method of payment.

If you really prefer check then either have it FedEx from PP ($25) or transfer to NETeller and request a check from them (takes about a week). I assure you that NOLIMITHOLDEM's experience is unique unless he used FedEx.

Asked another guy here at the office he recvd payment in less than a week also, check by mail.
I just asked for my first withdrawl to checking acct today. We will see how long that takes to go through. They say 3-5 biz days. Will advise later.
